The work
Marrow Street replaces a single-storey warehouse with a taller, denser distribution building sized for electric delivery fleets. The 14,600 sq m shed is arranged around a central pick tower, with dock levellers on two elevations to keep vehicle movements off the surrounding streets.
The steel portal frame is being erected in three bays to let fit-out follow the frame closely. Every roof purlin and the incoming supply have been specified for a full photovoltaic array and battery store, which the operator will commission in a later phase.
Works are live on site now, with the frame topped out and the envelope following behind it.
