Ferrers Health Campus

Ferrers brings imaging, outpatients and a day-surgery suite together in a single building on a constrained hospital campus. The design separates arriving patients, staff and clinical logistics into three distinct routes, all while the existing hospital carries on around the site hoarding.

A stiff concrete frame gives the vibration-sensitive scanner rooms the stability they need, and heavy plant is being lifted in over weekends under strict noise and crane-oversail agreements with the trust. Infection-control standards govern how the works tie into the live estate at every interface.

The frame is complete and the fit-out of the imaging floor is now underway.
