The work
Harborne Green threads forty-eight houses and maisonettes onto a steep, awkward infill plot between two established streets. The homes step down the slope in short terraces, each with its own garden and a shared landscaped mews rather than a road running through the middle.
Every home is built fabric-first: airtight timber-frame construction, triple glazing and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, so running costs stay low without relying on bolt-on technology. Rainwater is held and released slowly through planted swales woven between the terraces.
Handed over complete and fully occupied, the scheme reads as a quiet extension of the streets around it.
